The Sensible Socialist Podcast was started in 2018 by Kevin Gustafson after he realized how important it was to discuss leftist ideas in a way that doesn’t confuse, alienate, or anger the audience. The point of the podcast is to inform listeners and to be a place where social justice is something genuinely discussed and not a virtue signal at which to broadcast. Instead, the Sensible Socialist aims to discuss myriad issues from its own point of view and aims to create a community of those who feel they are still of the left but want a saner, more rational left with which to be a part.
