In this special episode of the Sensible Socialist, Kevin talks to someone very dear, his wife Alka Mysore. Alka is originally from India and moved to the US about ten years ago where she studied Management information systems at Iowa State University. She is an organizer and member of Socialist Alternative in Washington DC where for the last year she has been a member of the branch leadership as action organizer. We talk about her experiences as an immigrant to the US right before the economic crisis of 2008 and coming to see America through a socialist lens.
